The Chelsea 890 Series is a single-unit PTO, not a PTO paired with a bolt-on extension. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines between the PTO body and the output extension, and the clutch is positioned at the rear of the housing so the gear section tucks tightly against the transmission. This configuration moves the pump mounting flange rearward to fit within the space between the transmission and the frame rail.
