The Muncie SH8S-U6005-E3CX or SH8SU6005E3CX is an SH8 Series power take-off built for high-torque air shift applications. Muncie designed the SH Series to bridge the gap between the TG and 82 Series, and this unit carries the SH8's 8-bolt cast iron housing for straightforward mounting with solid structural strength. The integral air shift mechanism keeps the air cylinder fully enclosed, eliminating exposed components. Seventeen input gear sets cover most popular transmission applications, and twelve output shaft configurations accommodate most common pump types. Five available speed ratios let you match the PTO to the driven equipment. Series torque ratings reach up to 400 ft-lb intermittent and 280 ft-lb continuous depending on the speed ratio selected.
