The 110845 Eaton helical gear pinion is a differential internal component used in heavy-duty drive axle assemblies. Helical cut teeth mesh at an angle rather than straight across, which spreads load over more tooth contact and runs quieter than a straight-cut gear under torque. As a pinion, it drives its mating gear inside the differential case and has to match the rest of the gear set exactly, so identify your axle model and existing gear set before ordering.
