The Chelsea 282XKAJX-13XD is a 282 Series medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off from Parker Chelsea. The 282 Series uses an 8-bolt mounting configuration and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic (PowerShift) shift options. The series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm) and delivers up to 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output shaft options across the 282 Series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key and a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. Additional Information
The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO lineup, combining the Chelsea 238 Series with upgraded components. Moving parts are rated to withstand up to 300 lb-ft continuously or intermittently. Direct mount outputs offer an optional Wet-Spline configuration to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft. Driveshaft output configurations include a positive stop feature to protect seals from driveshaft yoke overtravel. The 282 Series is applied in aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water truck, and home fuel oil delivery truck markets.
