The Chelsea 288GTFJP-M5XD is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 288 Series platform. This heavy-duty PTO delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft and features a round output shaft with a 1-inch, 1/4-inch key configuration. The 288 Series is built on the proven 281 Series platform and incorporates ductile iron bearing caps, which are 117% stronger than the gray iron caps used in predecessor units. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of engine vibration. A positive-stop feature on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Pro Gear and Transmission carries genuine Chelsea PTOs for demanding vocational applications including refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice equipment.
