The Chelsea 447XWETX-A5XK is a 447 Series Power Take-Off built on a 6-bolt mounting pattern. The 447 Series uses a one-piece input gear with a space between the two sets of gear teeth, eliminating interference problems inside the transmission PTO opening without requiring an adapter plate. Output is delivered through a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key. Shift options for the 447 Series include wire/cable and mechanical configurations. Intermittent torque for the series ranges from 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm), with continuous torque de-rated 30% from the intermittent rating. Output power reaches up to 45 HP at series level. The Chelsea 447 Series is designed for use on utility trucks, dump trucks and trailers, snow and ice removal equipment, fire and rescue vehicles, and service trucks. It features tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability and is compatible with Eaton FS series and Nissan/UD MLS series transmissions, with available adapter kits for those applications.
