The Chelsea 489DLMAX-V6XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without the need for an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates an adapter plate and reduces potential leak paths compared to traditional multi-piece designs. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque capacity of 201-300 lb-ft and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, supporting parts availability and serviceability in the field.
