The Chelsea 489XCAHX-V3XX is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on other installations. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and operates on a wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series suits utility trucks, dump trucks, snow and ice removal equipment, and fire and rescue applications.
