The Chelsea 489XUDAX-V5XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening and shares the same 250 lb-ft torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Suited for utility trucks, dump trucks, snow and ice removal equipment, and fire and rescue applications.
