The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489QQMEX-66RJ, is an 8-bolt PTO built for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and its internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
