The Chelsea 489XLHXX-A5XK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off (PTO) from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers the same torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series at 250 lb-ft, and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Intermittent torque rating for the series runs 201-300 lb-ft.
