The cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings on the output shaft give this series a competitive torque rating in the intermittent range of 201-300 lb-ft, making it well-suited for service trucks, dump trucks, tow trucks, and small aerial applications. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 442 Series offers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 1/4" key and includes rotatable output flange options for improved clearance in tight installations.
