The Chelsea 890LBFJW-G5XK or 890LBFJWG5XK is a Hydraulic PowerShift PTO from the Chelsea 890 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts with a 10-bolt pattern and positions the SAE C flange output to the rear of the transmission, placing the pump behind the transmission and between the frame rails for improved pump clearance. A one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension. The clutch locates at the rear of the housing so the gear section tucks tightly against the transmission. Wet Spline output technology extends PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. Shaft power output reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. The Chelsea 890 Series was designed to fit neatly between the Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmission and the truck frame rail. Unlike a PTO-with-extension design, the 890 Series is a single unit with a one-piece shaft. The housing and gear section mount like a standard side-mounted PTO but include an additional support bracket at the rear of the transmission.
