The Chelsea 221REAJP-A3XD or 221REAJPA3XD is a 221 Series power take-off assembly built for low-speed, heavy-duty applications. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and accepts transmission interfaces from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key, and the unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Rated at up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power output of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The cast iron housing rides on tapered cone output bearings for greater load capacity than needle-bearing designs, and greaseable pump shafts help resist spline fretting and corrosion over time.
