The Chelsea 272XDESX-A3BD or 272XDESXA3BD is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 272 Series. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into a single platform with nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. It supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft and output power of 56 HP or more, making it well suited for aerial, towing and recovery, construction equipment, and water truck applications. Shift is pneumatic or hydraulic, and the series includes an integral air control valve.
