The Chelsea 442 Series Power Take-Off, part number 442XLBGX-W5XD or 442XLBGXW5XD, is a 6-bolt mount PTO assembly built for light-to-medium duty vocational applications including dump trucks, tow trucks, and service trucks. This unit carries a 0.391:1 gear ratio with air shift actuation and a 1-1/4" round standard output shaft. Mounting uses standard geometry with metric studs. The assembly runs without pressure lube (dry sump configuration) and the output shaft is greaseable for extended service intervals. The cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings on the output shaft are characteristic of the 442 Series and contribute to its long service life. Additional Information

The Chelsea 442 Series is compatible with virtually all existing 6-bolt transmission applications. Typical vocational markets include aerial, construction, forestry, fire and rescue, and municipal equipment. The 442 Series offers 360-degree rotatable output flange options and a low-profile shift cover design that aids installation clearance in tight cab or tunnel configurations. Thirty-six output options and eleven internal speed ratios are available across the 442 Series family, making it adaptable to a wide range of upfits. For this specific unit, the air shift configuration requires a regulated air supply at the shift port. Not sure this is your part? Give us a call.
