The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GHAHX-P5XK or 489GHAHXP5XK is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting configuration. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); check application pages for torque ratings specific to your installation. Output is rated at 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key.
