The Chelsea 489ZFDAX-V3XK or 489ZFDAXV3XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly with an 8-bolt, one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and accepts a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load capacity. Internal parts share commonality with the 442 Series, simplifying service. Compatible with Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions fitted with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
