The 812 Series features a low-profile cast iron housing that fits in tight spaces under the vehicle, making it a practical choice for dump trucks, tow and recovery rigs, and aerial device applications. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a round shaft with a 1-inch, 1/4-inch key. The 812 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of up to 400 lb-ft and output power of 56-plus HP. Note that Parker Chelsea has designated the 812 Series as obsolete and no longer available from the manufacturer.
