The Chelsea 823 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 823XJAKP-A3XV or 823XJAKPA3XV, is an extra heavy-duty PTO built for high-torque applications including oil field equipment, logging, pumper/cleaner trucks, and mining. It mounts via an 8-bolt aperture and fits Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. The lever/mechanical shift operates through a cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft for greater load-bearing capability. Intermittent torque rating is 500 lb-ft (678 Nm); shaft power output reaches 95 HP (71 kW) at 1,000 RPM and 48 HP (36 kW) at 500 RPM. The standard output is a 1410 Series companion flange with a 1-1/2"-10T spline. Available direct mount pump outputs support SAE C pump flange configurations.
