The Chelsea 871XHFJP-D5SV or 871XHFJPD5SV is a 10-bolt, hydraulic PowerShift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmission applications. The series is rated for continuous-duty operation with torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m), eliminating the need to derate for continuous service. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit broad application flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper cleaner, and truck crane installations. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibrational stress from modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series.
