The Chelsea 880 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 880XJITX-V5XV or 880XJITXV5XV, is an 8-bolt, lever mechanical shift PTO designed for heavy-duty applications including bulk haulers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, winch systems, and large truck recovery. Output is through a 1-1/2"-10 spline shaft with a 1410 companion flange, rated for intermittent torque up to 500 lb-ft (678 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 880 Series fits manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture across Volvo/Mack, Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. A cast iron housing, tapered cone bearings, and a removable shift cover for simplified backlash adjustment make it suited for high-torque, high- and low-speed service.
