The Eaton Detroit Locker K-GM7.5-98 or KGM7598 is a differential install kit designed for the GM 7.5 in. rear axle. The kit covers a 28-spline axle and 27-spline pinion, with a 10-bolt ring gear in standard rotation. Timken carrier bearings, carrier shims, pinion shims, a pinion seal, crush sleeve, tail bearing, head bearing, pinion nut, ring gear bolts, a cover gasket, thread locking compound, and gear marking compound are all included. Compatible Eaton unit references include 162C58A, 162C59A, 911A319, 912A317, 19663-010, and 19599-010. Note that axle bearings and axle seals are not part of this kit.
