The Midland Haldex 410-10040 or 41010040 is a 24-volt automatic drain valve designed to expel moisture from air brake reservoirs with each brake application, purging 1.3cc per cycle at 116 psi. Unlike compressor-cycled alternatives, this valve operates independently of compressor cycling, so moisture is removed consistently under real working conditions. A built-in heater (0.5 amps at 24V) prevents freeze-ups in cold weather, and an integrated filter protects internal components against contamination. The valve mounts vertically and connects via a Weather-Pack male electrical connector. Maximum operating pressure is 290 psi. Dimensions are 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide.
