The Muncie A20-A1005-HX3II or A20A1005HX3II is a medium-duty clutch shift power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions, mounting via a 10-bolt interface. The A20 Series design features a rotatable pump flange and a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers more flexibility in tight engine compartments. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and an enlarged output shaft diameter improves durability under sustained loads. A proven clutch pack delivers a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, simplifying spec selection. Three housing arrangements and compatibility with the EX Drive shaft extension add mounting flexibility for varied chassis installations. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
