The Muncie A20-A1006-HX5BSPX or A20A1006HX5BSPX is a medium-duty, clutch-shift power takeoff from the Muncie A20 Series, designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting pattern pairs with a shift cover that allows 360-degree rotation, giving installers flexibility in mounting orientation. A rotatable pump flange and increased housing clearance simplify installation on tight drivetrain packages. Tapered roller bearings extend PTO service life, while an enlarged output shaft diameter adds durability under load. The proven clutch pack carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and the gear geometry is optimized to keep noise down. Three housing arrangements are available within the A20 family, and the unit is compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
