The Muncie A20-A1008-HX5CBPW or A20A1008HX5CBPW is a medium-duty, clutch shift power take-off from the Muncie A20 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions via a 10-bolt mounting. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees, and the pump flange is rotatable, giving installers flexibility in tight engine compartments. Increased clearance over previous designs simplifies installation further. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and the increased output shaft diameter adds durability at the drive interface. The gear geometry is optimized to reduce operating noise. Three housing arrangements are available, and the unit accepts the EX Drive shaft extension.
