The Muncie A20-A1008-XX1TAPX or A20A1008XX1TAPX is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation, and a rotatable pump flange simplifies hydraulic plumbing. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, while an increased-diameter output shaft adds durability at the drive end. The clutch pack carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and the gear design is optimized to reduce operating noise. Three housing arrangements are available, extended-length PTO mounting fasteners ease bolt-up, and the unit accepts the EX Drive shaft extension.
