The Muncie A20-A1009-HX3BBPX or A20A1009HX3BBPX is a 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees, and the pump flange is also rotatable, giving installers flexibility in tight engine bays. Increased clearance around the unit simplifies installation compared to earlier designs. Tapered roller bearings extend service life at the output, while an enlarged output shaft diameter handles higher drive loads. The unit runs on a proven clutch pack design, carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and is offered in three housing arrangements. Compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension.
