The Muncie A20-A1010-HR3BSPX or A20A1010HR3BSPX is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power take-off engineered for Allison 3000 Series and 4000 Series automatic transmissions. The A20 Series mounts with extended-length PTO fasteners and accepts three housing arrangements, so installation adapts to different pump positions without custom fabrication. A rotatable pump flange and a shift cover with 360-degree rotation reduce fitment headaches in tight cab-to-axle spaces. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and the enlarged output shaft diameter handles higher torque loads than earlier designs. Gear geometry is optimized to keep noise down during continuous operation. The unit also accepts the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
