The Muncie A20-A1012-HX1TAPX or A20A1012HX1TAPX is a medium-duty, clutch-shift power takeoff designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions, mounting via a 10-bolt pattern. The A20 series uses a proven clutch pack design with tapered roller bearings for extended service life. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation, and the pump flange is rotatable to suit different plumbing layouts. Three housing arrangements accommodate a range of installation geometries. The increased output shaft diameter adds durability under load, and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners reduce installation difficulty. Compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension.
