The Muncie A20-A1012-JX3BBPX or A20A1012JX3BBPX is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series design centers on a rotatable pump flange and a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers significant flexibility in mounting orientation. Tapered roller bearings extend PTO service life, and the increased output shaft diameter adds durability under sustained load. The proven clutch pack uses a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and three housing arrangements let the unit fit a range of truck configurations. Extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and reduced leak paths round out the design. The unit is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
