The Muncie SS88-21XC-A00XXX or SS8821XCA00XXX is a split shaft power take-off from the SS88 Series, rated for 21,000 lb-ft maximum through-shaft torque. It provides two SAE 8-bolt PTO apertures, allowing medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicles to mount a pair of 8-bolt PTOs directly behind the transmission for auxiliary power drives. The SS88 Series uses a 6-pitch spur gear and is available with air or hydraulic shift engagement. Through-shaft flange compatibility covers the 1550, 1610, 1710, and 1810 Series.
