The Muncie SH8S-M6505-E3CX or SH8SM6505E3CX is an SH8 Series power take-off built for high-torque applications. It uses an integral air shift design that eliminates any exposed air cylinder, reducing the risk of damage in tight mounting environments. The cast iron housing uses an 8-bolt pattern for secure, straightforward installation. Five speed ratios and 17 input gear sets cover most popular transmission applications, while 12 output shaft options accommodate a wide range of pump types. Intermittent torque ratings reach 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) at the lower speed ratios, with continuous ratings down to 228 lb-ft (309 Nm) at the higher ratios.
