The Muncie RS6S-P89M1-P1PX or RS6SP89M1P1PX is a power take-off (PTO) assembly built for the Detroit DT12 transmission. It runs a 0.97 internal ratio and uses a solenoid-activated mechanical shift to engage the unit. Output is available as an SAE BB shaft or a 1410 companion flange, so you can drive a pump directly or through a driveline. Max torque is rated at 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) and max horsepower at 60 (45 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The design uses the full torque capacity of the transmission and supports larger pumps without extra support up to a bending moment limit of 29.5 ft-lb.
