The Muncie SS66-U2X2-C00XX or SS66U2X2C00XX is a Split Shaft Power Take-Off from Muncie's SS66 Series, designed to provide two 6-bolt PTO apertures where none exist on the main transmission or where limited space restricts access to a second transmission opening. The SS66 Series uses the main vehicle driveshaft as its input; when engaged, the main driveshaft disconnects from the rear axle, routing power to auxiliary equipment. The unit accepts common PTO series such as the TG or CS6 at each opening. Engagement is available via air-shift or heavy-duty push/pull cable. The SS66 is also used behind a single PTO to multiply output options. Typically applied on chassis up to Class 5. Through-shaft flanges are compatible with Spicer 1410 and 1500/1510 Series.
