This axle nut threads onto the end of a Mack axle shaft to retain the wheel bearing, hub, and wheel assembly while maintaining proper bearing preload. It measures 12.001 in. across the width and height with a 1.02 in. length, and is sold individually. It is made by PAI as a replacement for Mack applications.
