This side gear fits the driven rear axle differential on Mack trucks and uses a fine spline design with 43 teeth to mesh with the spider gears, transferring torque to the axle shafts while letting wheel speed vary in turns. It measures 7 in. long, 7 in. wide, and 2 in. high. The part is made by PAI as a replacement for the Mack differential assembly.
