This spring brake valve is a PAI-made replacement for Mack and Volvo chassis using the 5019469 application. It regulates air pressure to the spring brake chambers, allowing parking brakes to apply gradually rather than lock up abruptly during emergency stops. Fleets running either Mack or Volvo trucks with this valve setup can use it as a direct fit.
