This Type 2 diaphragm is a PAI-made replacement for Mack air brake chamber service applications, sold individually. Inside the chamber it flexes under compressed air pressure, transferring that force to the pushrod so the brakes engage. It fits Mack platforms and is built to the Type 2 diaphragm configuration.
