This air brake relay valve fits Mack and Navistar applications and is sold individually. Mounted in the air brake system, it speeds up brake response by applying or releasing air to the brake chambers directly, rather than routing that signal all the way back through the treadle valve. This shortens lag time compared to relying solely on the treadle valve.
