Eaton Endurant Transmissions, Clutches and Parts

Everything we stock for the Eaton Endurant automated transmission in one place: complete Endurant HD units, the 430 mm automated clutch kits that go in front of them, mechatronic and control module kits, sensors, bearings, seals and the small hardware that comes out of the case during a rebuild. Eaton's service manual for this family, TRSM0950, covers the EEO-14F112C through EEO-18F112C models and the EE-xxF111B models, and the parts below are the genuine Eaton numbers called out in it.

Endurant HD transmission units

Endurant units are listed under the Eaton program numbers that begin TA- and TN-. The EEO-18F112C is the most common build here, in single PTO form such as TA-H04-12X and in dual PTO form such as TN-H04-32R, with input designations 10001336, 10003440 and 10003877 separating the variants. The EE-17F111B is stocked as the exchange unit TA-H10-27X. Reading the model number helps. In Eaton's numbering the leading E is Endurant, an O marks an overdrive top gear, and the two digits after it give the torque capacity as that number times 100 plus 50 ft-lb. Eaton's service manual pairs the EEO-xxF112C boxes with the 12 speed transmission control module kit and the EE-xxF111B boxes with the 11 speed kit, so the 18 in EEO-18F112C is a torque rating, not a gear count.

Endurant clutch kits

The Endurant runs a 430 mm push type diaphragm spring clutch rather than a coil spring cover, so these kits are specific to the platform. K-4488CL ships as a complete job: the 430 mm installation assembly 105511-5, release bearing assembly A-10004340 and input shaft repair kit K-4569 without pilot bearing, with an organic facing and a pre-damper. K-4494CL is the same 430 mm organic, push type, pre-damper build, with fitment data pointing at Cummins ISX12 and X15 engines. The heavy duty kits K-4496CL (cross reference 105520-20), K-4512CL (105510-7), K-4513CL (also listed as SCK-4513CL) and K-4514CL (19 inch, organic facing, 105520-20) cover the rest of the range. The FWCL versions of K-4488 and K-4494 are listed beside them; call if you are not sure which of the two your truck takes.

Mechatronic module, control module and sensors

Shift control on the Endurant lives in three units: the mechatronic transmission module (MTM), the linear clutch actuator (LCA) and the transmission control module (TCM). EAHDK-4497R is the MTM kit supplied without the TCM or LCA, and EAHDK-4637 is the MTM O-ring repair kit for a weeping module. TCM kits split by gear count and software level: EAHDK-4616 for the HD 12 speed at A5.1 and EAHDK-4617 for the HD 11 speed at A5.1. On the sensor side we stock the air pressure sensor EAHD10005053, the output speed sensor assembly EAHD10001792 and the lube pressure sensor kit. Eaton calls for a ServiceRanger clutch calibration and rail calibration after any MTM, TCM or transmission replacement, followed by a fault clear, so plan on a laptop at the truck before you button the job up.

Rebuild parts, bearings and seals

The bulk of this shelf is the EAHD part block that makes up the inside of the case. Input shaft kits such as EAHDK-4660, the release bearing assembly EAHDA-10004340 with its SAE kit version EAHDA-10004341, the inertia brake service kit EAHDK-4350 that fits the EEO-14F112 through EEO-18F112C range, rear housing kits in single PTO and dual PTO form, plus synchro hubs and range yokes, planetary assemblies, needle and ball bearings, snap rings, thrust washers, U-cup seals, O-rings, zero leak plugs and the metric flange screws Eaton specifies by length. Which Endurant part do I need

Start at the serial tag on the lower right side of the clutch housing. It carries the model and serial number, and the model tells you whether you are on an EEO-xxF112C or an EE-xxF111B, which is the split that decides the TCM kit and several of the internals. For a fluid service the Endurant takes PS-386 synthetic lubricant, roughly 7.5 to 8.5 liters (16 to 18 pints) depending on how the box sits in the chassis, and the check, fill and drain plugs take a 6 mm hex key and torque to 24.5 to 29.5 Nm (18 to 22 lb-ft).
