The American Mobile Power LTM-25 or LTM25 suction strainer is made for liquid transfer tank service on truck boxes. Working on the intake side of the pump, a suction strainer stops bigger bits of debris before they get drawn in, which protects the pump itself. A strainer that has clogged restricts the flow reaching the inlet, which makes it worth a look when a transfer pump is not drawing as it should. It is sold as an individual unit by Pro Gear and Transmission.
