The Bendix 5000709X is an AD-IP air dryer with a 1/2 PT supply port, a 1/2 PT delivery port and a 12V-90W heater and thermostat.
An air dryer pulls water, oil and fine contaminants out of the compressed air before it reaches the first reservoir, so the brake system is fed clean, dry air. A desiccant bed holds the moisture and a purge cycle then blows it out of the dryer. If water spits out of the tank drains on a truck that has a dryer, the dryer is probably not doing its job. A genuine Bendix part from Pro Gear and Transmission.
