Bendix AD-IS air dryer 5004050PGX is a genuine Bendix part from Pro Gear and Transmission for the compressed air side of a truck brake system. An air dryer pulls moisture and contaminants out of the air the compressor sends forward, so the brake system gets clean, dry air. Dryers of this style combine the desiccant dryer, a purge reservoir, a governor and check valves in a single assembly, and each purge cycle blows the collected moisture out of the dryer so nobody has to drain tanks by hand.
