The Bendix 065512 TC-6 trailer control valve is the hand valve that lets the driver brake the trailer by itself while the tractor brakes stay out of it. Pulling the handle sends air to the delivery line, and the valve holds that pressure steady until the handle moves again. Releasing the handle vents the delivery air out the exhaust.
It is a handle-operated unit made for panel or dog house mounting, so it sits within the driver's reach. It controls the trailer service brakes only.
