17-805 or 17805 is a genuine Bendix air brake camshaft, right hand with 28 spline, listed for the Spicer High Rise (after 07-94).
The camshaft is turned by the slack adjuster arm, which converts the push rod's straight-line stroke into the twisting motion that spreads the shoes against the drum, with the S-shaped cam on the end of the shaft doing the work of forcing the shoes outward.
