The 3558005X Bendix Compressor is an air brake compressor, the unit that supplies the compressed air a truck's brake system depends on. When a compressor starts to wear, oil getting past the rings into the air passages is a known trouble sign, since even a little oil in the air system can cause problems for the brakes.
It is a genuine Bendix part from Pro Gear and Transmission. Compressors differ by drive and mounting, so call us with your engine and the tag from the old unit and we will help you confirm proper fit.
A refundable core charge of $490.00 applies to this item and will be collected at checkout. The core charge is refunded upon receipt of your returned core, subject to its condition; customer is responsible for return shipping. Call us at (877) 776-4600 for details.
A factory handling fee of $20.00 per unit is added at checkout.
