The Bendix 279207 Master Cylinder turns the force you put on the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure and sends pressurized fluid through the brake lines to the brakes at the wheels, so everything downstream depends on it holding pressure.
When the internal seals begin to bypass, the pedal can sink toward the floor or feel soft and spongy, even with no visible leak. A worn unit can also seep fluid at the outlet ports or the end seal, or fail to release fully so the brakes drag. This is a genuine Bendix part from Pro Gear and Transmission. A factory handling fee of $20.00 per unit is added at checkout.
