Bendix modulator 802697 is a genuine Bendix brake part sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. A modulator of this type is an on/off air valve that takes its commands from the anti-lock controller. During anti-lock activity it can hold, release and reapply air to the service brake chamber, which keeps a wheel from locking while the vehicle keeps braking.
